The Gradient Collection is a unique collaboration between Textus and internationally acclaimed industrial designer Cory Grosser. The collection was inspired by the designer’s belief in the positive affects of color and beauty on human emotion and productivity. Similar to the works of color field artists such as Mark Rothko, Gradient creates a sublime emotional response from the viewer. Unlike those artists the Gradient Collection introduces "motion" and "transition" to the composition. This combination of pure color and form with the idea of motion is a common element throughout Grosser's work and is a reflection of the bustle of the modern working environment.

Over 100 yarns were custom-dyed to Mr. Grosser’s exact specifications resulting in the first woven color gradient in the Contract industry. Additionally, each color is available in vastly different scales including: a 144" repeat, a 36" repeat, an 18" repeat. The blend of color and scale allows designers to experiment; Gradient can be the defining element of a space.
